LIPS CONTOURING

WHAT IS LIPS CONTOUR CORRECTION?

Lip contour correction envisages increasing the volume, changing the contour, as well as moisturizing the lips skin with the help of hyaluronic acid injections. In addition to external changes, hyaluronic acid restores the elasticity and firmness of the lips. Hyaluronic acid is a polysaccharide that naturally occurs in human body, that is why it is not rejected and does not cause allergies. Over time, hyaluronic acid is excreted from the body naturally without creating complications, while the lips return to their original shape. Fillers do not leave marks and scars on the skin. Regular lip contour correction guarantees long-term results. This treatment is suitable for patients from 17 to 60 years old.

WHICH PROBLEMS THE TREATMENT SOLVES?

  • lips volume increase
  • lips shape and contour correction
  • congenital or acquired lip asymmetry
  • prevention of age-related lips changes
  • lifting the lips corners
  • lips dryness

Please note that the treatment cannot be carried out in cases if:

  • you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • you have a cold, flu or fever
  • you are allergic to hyaluronic acid injections
  • you suffer from mental disorders or epilepsy

THE PRODUCTS WE USE

We use gel products of hyaluronic acid with a certain density, specially developed for the lips area and the area around the mouth: Teosyal, Juviderm, Regenovue, Neuavia, etc. All products are certified in Europe. Some of them contain lidocaine for a more comfortable administration. Sterile syringes contain 0.5-1.2 ml of gel. Thus, the correction can be minimal, for example, only the lips’ contour or increasing the lips volume up to 2 ml at the request of the client.

HOW IS THE TREATMENT CONDUCTED?

Before the manipulation, we discuss the desired result with the client and develop an individual correction plan. The lips are cleaned of make-up and impurities, after that an anesthetic gel is applied to the lips. The skin of the lips shall be disinfected and prepared for injections. Hyaluronic acid is injected with a thin needle to a depth of 1-2 mm, first along the contour of the lips, and then into the soft tissues of the lips to give them the desired volume. During the procedure, it is also possible to lift the lips corners. After the procedure, the lips shall be cleansed and an antibacterial gel shall be applied. In most cases, a 1ml syringe is enough to increase lips volume.
