FACE CONTOUR CORRECTION

WHAT IS FACE CONTOUR CORRECTION?

Over the years, the skin loses its elasticity, and the soft tissues of the skin become thinner. This provokes formation of nasolabial and marionette folds. The most effective way to combat these unpleasant age-related changes is face contour correction. Even surgical methods will not be able to provide the same effect, since the created tension of the skin cannot affect the soft underlying tissues and the result will not last long. Fillers used for face contour correction contain hyaluronic acid and collagen. The purpose of these components is to smooth out wrinkles. After the procedure, the skin becomes smooth and elastic, and there will be no trace of wrinkles!

WHICH PROBLEMS DOES THE TREATMENT SOLVE?

  • nasolabial folds
  • marionette folds

BEFORE TREATMENT

Please note that the treatment cannot be carried out in cases if:

  • you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • you have a cold, flu or fever
  • you suffer from cancer
  • you are allergic to hyaluronic acid injections
  • you suffer from mental disorders or epilepsy
  • you suffer from blood coagulation system disorders

THE PRODUCTS WE USE

We use Dermalax filler, which is specially designed for face contour correction. The product contains hyaluronic acid molecules of the same size, which ensures a stable, uniform density of the gel structure. This minimizes the possibility of inflammatory reactions, in contrast to the cases when a dermal filler with an inhomogeneous density and viscosity of a suspension is used. This product not only helps to smooth out wrinkles, but also moisturizes the skin tissues, at the same time triggering the natural skin regeneration process. Dermalax contains lidocaine, which makes the procedure almost painless, while the product efficiency is better compared to other remedies. The volume of one syringe is 1.1 ml.

HOW IS THE TREATMENT CONDUCTED?

First, we examine a patient’s skin in detail and discuss the desired result. During the procedure, the patient is sitting in a professional chair with a headrest. The patient’s face skin is cleansed, disinfected and an anesthetic gel is applied. A thin needle is used to make the required number of injections to smooth out wrinkles. After the procedure, the treated skin area is disinfected and a cold bag is applied to it to avoid bruising and swelling. It is recommended to apply a cold bag to the treated area for the next 12 hours after the procedure. The result lasts up to 6 months on average.

AFTER TREATMENT

The injection sites must be treated with an antiseptic solution for 2-3 days. It is recommended to adhere to the following restrictions after the treatment to avoid infections and serious skin problems:

  • gym, swimming pool — 1 week
  • sauna, hot bath — 2-3 days
  • sunbathing and solarium — 2-3 weeks
  • cosmetic products — 3-4 days
