MESOTHREADS
Mesothreads are sterile, dissolvable threads that are inserted under the skin with the help of cannulas. The threads stimulate collagen production in the skin to create a lifting effect. The threads dissolve within 6-8 months breaking down to water and carbon dioxide that leave the body with metabolic products. The lifting effect is visible immediately after the manipulation, and the final result after about 6 months. The lifting effect lasts for about 2 years. The elasticity of the skin improves after the threads dissolve; fibrous tissue forms at the areas where the threads were introduced due to the increase of collagen and fibroblasts.
